Welcome! We're thrilled you are here to sign your child up for the Reading Room!
In the Reading Room, we know that every family is different. That is why we operate on a sliding scale. A sliding scale encourages people to pay according to their available resources. Those with greater financial privilege contribute more, allowing those with less access to pay according to their means. This allows the business to sustain its services while making accessibility as broad as possible.
IMPORTANT: Please note the following three policies before selecting a plan...

1) When it comes to payment, the Reading Room runs on a subscription model. Charging a low rate weekly, but consistently, is how I keep the costs for families reasonable as well as ensure a steady income for the entire team. It is not possible to turn off your child's subscription for a vacation week, illness, or when times get busy. This is a steady commitment that should be terminated when your child makes it up to grade level and graduates or when you decide you no longer wish to have them enrolled. There is no minimum number of weeks to sign up for and you can cancel at any time.
2) The Reading Room is closed on certain school holidays, and a bit extra around the winter holidays. On holiday weekends, there will be no weekend report. You will receive notice in advance when the reading room will be closed and when there will be no weekend report.
3) The Reading Room participates in teacher training videos and social media. If you do not want your child's image used for teacher training or social media, please email Heather at: onlinereadingspecialist@gmail.com. Children's full names are never used.

Tier 3 Plan, $75 per week. If you are in a comfortable situation and you would like to sign your child up and help another child learn to read regardless of financial ability, we invite you, with deep gratitude, to become one of our Tier 3 Angels. Your willingness to pay $10 more each week means we can offer a spot to a family who would struggle to pay for our Tier 2 Plan. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Tier 2 Plan, $65 per week. This is what most families use and we encourage it! This plan covers the cost of your child's materials and teacher salaries.

Tier 1 Plan, $55 per week. We welcome you to use this plan if it helps limit strain or stress on your family.
